Carpentry Labourer

**The Job**

We have a vacancy with our client based in Waikuku for a labourer to assist with the construction of insulated panel structures. You will be working in a small team, building a range of items from small refrigerators to large chiller rooms and buildings. Your time will be split between the warehouse where you will build items and onsite installing the structures within the Canterbury region.

This is full time work with full training provided. There are long term options available and the chance to develop your career in this industry. This is full time work, 40+ hours per week working Monday - Friday starting at 7:00am each day (Saturdays by negotiation).

Basic experience in the building industry or a carpentry pre-trade certificate is preferred but if you have the right attitude, you can learn

Do you meet the following criteria?
- Basic hammer & nails, or carpentry experience (preferred)
- Good level of physical fitness & strength
- Flexible with hours - available to work extra hours if needed
- Have your own reliable transport to get to work (don't rely on the bus or mates)
- Team player and work well in a small team
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Keen to learn, with an interest in a career in the building industry
