Our Category & Insights team forms an integral part of our ANZ Sales function. Working closely with both our Sales & Marketing teams, as well as our Retailers, the Category team utilises all available Category & Consumer/Shopper information sources to effectively connect trends & understand key drivers of Category performance.

The role of Category & Insights Analyst supports the Category development agenda and is responsible for delivering fact-based analysis, insight and recommendations on the category. The role will drive category leadership in collaboration with our customers by using market, shopper and consumer insights.

**What are we looking for?**:

- 1-2 years experience in sales/category role, with FMCG experience, preferred but not essential.
- Ability to build strong relationships with all internal/external stakeholders.
- High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint with ability to technically analyse data and then turn insight into action.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills and an upbeat attitude are a must, so your ability to build strong relationships and establish rapport is second to none.

**What will be your key responsibilities?**:

- Category Management: Delivery of customer specific deep dives and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders, with key responsibility for the Vet Channel.
- Collaboration: Work alongside the sales Key Account team for key customer category dates, including and partner with Marketing team to support strategic decisions for Pillar to drive Category growth, including Innovation and Activations.
- Champion Insights: Lead the consumer & shopper insights agenda including engaging with key external shopper research & insights providers to collect, integrate and share relevant consumer & shopper research and insights with the broader teams.
- Reporting: Create, update and develop key internal reports for evaluation of market and customer performance. Support Category Manager with reports and analytics for customer meetings and range reviews (where required).
