**Barista**

This is an exciting opportunity in a caf with a purpose, delivering a great experience to our customers with a passion for sweet delicacies every day. Youll be working with an upbeat team, thriving on crafted handmade desserts and coffee. With an expanding clientele in Auckland, we are currently looking for 2 Baristas who are adept at on-site preparation of beverages and desserts.

**What you do**:

- Providing warm, friendly, and welcoming customer service
- Informing customers about specials or new items while accepting orders and payments
- Responding to all requests in a timely manner
- Making and serving foods and coffee, till use
- Learning about brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation, and presentation techniques to improve food quality
- Packaging foods and beverages for sale
- Cleaning and restocking work, emptying trash, and sanitizing equipment and utensils
- Replenishing supplies as required
- Adhering to all food safety regulations and quality controls.

The employment is on an ongoing basis. The role is based on an assured 30-hour working week and will be carried out in Auckland.
- Minimum 1 year of proven relevant experience in the hospitality industry
- Ability to handle money
- Excellent verbal communication and memorization skills
- Great interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multi-tasking skills
- Physically fit for standing and walking for extended periods and lift to 50 lbs
- Availability to workweekends, and holidays
- Willingness to perform additional duties to facilitate the businesss operations, as needed.
- Pass pre-employment police vetting and drug test
- Have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
