Lily Eatery at Devonport is after a permanent Barista who enjoys a fast-paced environment and has a true passion for the hospitality industry. This role is full-time (guaranteed at least 40 working hours per week) and will be within the times of around 6/7 am to 2/3 pm 5 days a week, including weekends.

**Your responsibilities are**:
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages to our customers.

Preparing foods, such as sandwiches or baked goods, grinding and blending coffee beans, brewing coffee and tea, and serving items to customers.

Packaging food and beverages for sale.

Learning about brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation, and presentation techniques to improve food quality.

Ensure consistency in the quality of the coffee and tea beverages.

Maintain a clean and organised workspace, including cleaning and sanitising equipment and utensils.

Ensure that all supplies are stocked and properly stored.

Take customer orders and handle cash and credit card transactions.

Provide excellent customer service and engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner.

Collaborate with the rest of the team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Adhering to all food safety regulations and quality controls.

Minimum 6-month work experience as a Barista is required

Strong communication skills.

Ability to work closely with other members of the team

Strong work ethic and desire to succeed.

Ability to deal with high-volume, fast-paced output on a regular basis.

The pay rate for successful applicants will be paid between $25.00 -$30.00 depending on skill and experience
