We’re looking for a **Fresh Foods Assistant - Service Deli **to join our **Countdown Auckland City **team.

You’ll understand what our customers want at our service deli counters and make sure they’re receiving an experience that will really wow them. From helpful advice, to chatting about their day - by being yourself and offering a personalised service wherever possible, you’ll ensure every customer walks away feeling good and looking forward to their next visit.

**About the Role | Mō te Tūranga
- Keeping our service deli department well stocked and presented at all times
- Providing excellent customer service
- Mixing salads, cooking and displaying a variety of deli foods
- Learning about and adhering to food safety policies

**You will be joining a hands on and customer focused department and we are looking for a team member to
- Are okay handling fresh food, including processed and cooked meat
- Have strong attention to detail & skills for when it comes to food safety checks
- Be happy to work on their feet for most of their shift
- Have a great eye for presentation and love interacting with our customers

**This is a casual Fresh Foods Assistant - Service Deli position and we ask for flexibility across a 7 day roster, you may be called at short notice to cover shifts for the team roster.
