As the Distribution Centre Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire distribution process to ensure efficient operations and timely delivery of goods across both our East Tamaki and Wiri sites. You will be a crucial part of our supply chain team, and your contributions will be instrumental in meeting our customers' expectations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and oversee all distribution centre operations, including receiving, processing, storing, and shipping products
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs while maintaining a high level of customer service
- Ensure all safety procedures and protocols are followed and maintain a safe working environment for all employees
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate inventory counts
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Manage and develop our fabulous team of supervisors, leads, and warehouse personnel, including coaching and performance management
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure the distribution centre's success and communicate effectively with senior leadership regarding any issues or opportunities for improvement
- Requirements:

- Proven experience in a distribution centre management role
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and develop a team
- The ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory control procedures
- Demonstrated experience in improving operational efficiency and reducing costs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously
