Our New Zealand Building’s team includes engineers in the primary disciplines of Building Services, Building Sciences, Sustainability, Structural and Façade engineering. The team delivers projects regionally and contributes to the Group’s growth in the ANZ region. With an increasing and diverse portfolio of work across New Zealand, we are currently looking to expand in the major centres of Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch and are seeking a Principal or Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team of industry leading professionals.
The role will entail:
Providing electrical design expertise in multidisciplinary projects.
Leading the electrical design delivery of medium to large scale projects.
Project management, authority and client liaison.
Acting as a mentor for younger engineers.
Supporting the technical skills development of the electrical discipline.
- What can you bring to the team?
7 - 15 years building services engineering experience
Experience leading design teams
Experience in delivering projects within the built environment sector.
Experience undertaking design and reviews using software such as Revizto and industry standard software (AGi-32/Dialux, PowerCAD, REVIT, Bluebeam, MS Office)
Solid understanding of local codes and regulations.
Excellent communication skills.
Good organisational skills and the ability to communicate/liaise effectively and professionally with all levels of staff, clients and contractors
Time management skills, setting priorities, planning and organising
Self-motivated with a positive and friendly attitude
Degree in relevant engineering discipline (Electrical Engineering).
Chartered or Professional Engineer Status or close to obtaining.
