**The Central Interceptor is a wastewater tunnel that will run between the Mangere Wastewater Treatment Plant and Grey Lynn. The 14.7-kilometre-long tunnel will run between 15 and 110 metres below ground. It will cross the Manukau Harbour at about 15 metres under the seabed. Along the route, it will connect to the existing wastewater network, which will divert flows and overflows into the tunnel.**

Reporting to the Traffic Manager you will manage the day-to-day traffic control activities for the Central Interceptor Project.

**What you will be doing**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
Key responsibilities include but may not be limited to the following
- Manage day-to-day traffic control activities, such as site establishment/disestablishment and monitoring
- Co-Ordinate TM resource requirements for sites using internal and external resource
- Lead and supervise STMS and Traffic Controllers on sites
- Implement the traffic management plans
- Ensure site compliance in accordance with CoPTTM, relevant Road Controlling Agencies and Project Requirements
- Ensure site compliance across the project through regular auditing
- 2-5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Current Level 2/3P STMS qualification from NZTA
- Class 2 Full License
- Experience working on construction sites
- Positive and pro-active approach toward teamwork
- Good communication skills and ‘can-do' attitude
- Ability to work under pressure, determine priorities and follow instructions
- Construct Safe Level 1 is ideal but not essential - we will provide this training

All successful applicants will be required to undertake a Ministry of Justice and pre-employment drug and medical checks.
