A part-time job is available for a front of house position in a busy family restaurant on the edge of the city.

We are looking for a confident and reliable individual who would like to work in the hospitality industry. Hospitality experience is desired. Looking for someone long-term, preferably from Christchurch, who is at school or uni, with the opportunity of working with us 1+ years.

There is a range of hours available with the opportunity to pick up more. Looking for someone who wants around 10 rostered hours and to fill in the gaps when needed.

Must be available over Uni Holidays, and the Christmas and New Years period. Must be happy to work Friday and/or Saturday nights.

This position does not require a drivers license, however it is preferred as the shifts of this position could finish anywhere up until 11.30pm, so reliable transport is a must.

The restaurant is open 7 days a week, closing only on Christmas day. Our hours fall between 10.30am - 11.30pm, differing each day.

Working in our restaurant you will carry out a range of tasks. Including; serving our dine in customers, following our service plan, looking after customers that have come to collect pick up orders, taking payments, answering our phone and making bookings, pouring pints of beer and glasses of wine behind our bar, basic cocktails and ensuring the restaurant is clean and tidy.

We offer a free small pizza every shift and have other great staff discounts.

Job start will be end of July.
