The Data Analytics & Strategy (DA&S) Management Assurance team act as trusted advisers and partners to the business, ensuring sustainable business decisions and practices. They provide support, guidance and insights to enable DA&S team members to fulfil their first line of defence risk and compliance management obligations and accountabilities.

**Mō te Tūranga | **About the Role**

The Analyst, Management Assurance will partner with DA&S stakeholders to assist and provide guidance and insights.

Day to day you will be responsible for:

- Coordinating the DA&S management assurance activity schedule and enabling its execution
- Identifying, mitigating and managing operational risks
- Supporting the robust review, testing and assurance of risks and controls
- Supporting quality assurance of GRACE information and data
- Providing reporting to support management of the risk and control environment
- Evolving risk management reporting with efficient data analysis to enable timely insights
- Ensuring risk and compliance practices and outcomes enable delivery of sustainable business objectives while meeting BNZ risk and compliance obligations
- Cultivating a culture of risk awareness, ownership and control by upskilling and educating DA&S stakeholders

**Ōu Pūkenga | **About you**:
We are looking for someone with 3+ years of experience in the financial services sector or in risk management as well as broad knowledge of risk management and compliance frameworks, principles and methodologies.

You will also have:

- Analytical skills including the ability to analyse and interpret data. Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong communication skills to communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences, in both written and oral form.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Presentation and report writing skills.
