As an Acoustic Inspection Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in delivering cutting-edge Acoustic Inspection Services across New Zealand, Australia, and the Pacific.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Acoustic Inspections - Conduct acoustic inspections of overhead distribution and transmission networks, substations, and ground-mounted equipment.
- Data Analysis - Conduct acoustic survey analysis and electrical engineering evaluations to enhance inspection services.
- Reporting & Classification - Prepare detailed reports with findings, ensuring classification aligns with customers’ maintenance standards.
- Additional Assessments - Carry out complementary network condition assessments, including visual surveys, online testing, and infrared inspections.
- Aerial/Drone-Based Inspections - Work closely alongside our specialised drone pilots, supporting advanced aerial inspection programs.

**Travel Requirement**
This role requires extensive travel across New Zealand, Australia, and the Pacific.

**About You**
We’re looking for someone with:

- A degree or diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronics Engineering
- An EWRB Qualification (preferred but not essential)
- Experience in the electricity industry, ideally within electrical distribution
- A customer-focused approach and strong relationship-building skills
- Experience in both office-based analysis and fieldwork, including site inspections
- Strong computer literacy with industry-related software and tools
- The ability to work independently and in a team environment
