**About the role | He kōrero whakamārama mō tēnei tūranga**
Our Community & Rehabilitation business is in growth mode and this position presents an opportunity to get involved from the outset and help implement change. Reporting to a Regional Manager, this role will see you making sure that home and community-based services for our customers are delivered across the wider Wellington and Wairarapa regions. You will maintain positive relationships in local communities, ensuring our services are integrated with wider health and social sector services to meet the unique needs of people and their family/whanau.
Responsibilities include:
- Working closely with your manager and the Service Centre to deliver new and enhanced service product offerings to our customers
- Build strong relationships with local funders (DHB's and ACC, amongst others), Iwi, primary care practices, community representatives and other stakeholders
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, to ensure quality client-centric services are delivered within your area, and the appropriate workforce recruited to meet customer requirements and funder obligations
- Actively work to improve the financial performance for Hawkes Bay
**What you will bring | Ngā tohungatanga mō tēnei tūranga**
Your passion for delivering the best possible outcomes for customers and stakeholders will see you succeed in this role. Ideally you will have proven experience in leading the delivery of clinical services/products, however service delivery or relationship management experience in another sector will be considered. Excellent commercial skills, sound judgement and a resilient attitude are key.
- Experience in a service delivery or relationship role, preferably within the health/disability or community services sectors
Experience in leading the delivery of clinical services and products
A passion and expertise for working collaboratively and developing skills in others
Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills, and highly developed emotional intelligence
An Understanding of the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi and how these can be applied
A love of problem solving combined with resilience to cope with the unexpected or difficult
Excellent planning and organisational skills, with project management experience
Sound judgement and a high level of integrity.
