**Short order cook, sandwich making & catering role**

Your job description will include:
*Making sandwiches, paninis, croissants, bagels, grilled cheese toasties for our cabinets

*Cooking Burgers, Waffles, Eggs, Brunch meals etc off the menu. Our menu is delicious but simple, and full training will be given.

*Making filos, egg cups, soup, and salads for the cabinets

*Weekly stock take and ordering, putting away orders

*Food safety temp recording for pies, quiches etc (full training will be given)

*Cleaning of work area and equipment

You absolutely don’t need to be a chef for this role, but you'll need to have some experience in a commercial cooking environment, a strong interest in cooking and the ability to work fast and multi-task. Fridays and Saturdays particularly we do a lot of meals, the rest of the week we sell more cabinet food, so the days will vary. Ideally you'd also be happy to help out FOH when kitchen duties are light, we have a very multi skilled team here which really helps with covering leave and sharing the load together.

Our shifts consist of days only, no Sundays or Public Holidays, no nights. Shifts are rostered over our open days Mon - Sat with 7am - 3pm. Saturday will definitely be one of your days of work most weeks, but we have some flexibility around total contracted days and hours. We are open to negotiation over how many days and hours your position will include.

Be warned though - our eatery and production kitchen are busy busy busy This means this role is perfect for a person who loves to keep busy and be very productive. If you'd love a job where you stand around waiting for customers - this is not it You'll need to be someone who loves a cranking day, is able to multi-task well, move fast and not get stressed when the pressures on. Most important you'll need to love our customers as much as we do, which is a LOT.
