**Mo te tunga | About the role**

As a Psychologist in the Wellington office team, you will be exposed to a variety of work across Community Probation and Prison Services in the Wellington Region. Our psychologists undertake clinical assessments and treatment in both the Male and Female prisons in our region and in the community, provide supervision, advice and training within Corrections and allied agencies, and participate in service and research initiatives. Treatment provision is primarily individual treatment with a focus on sexual and violent offences. Our more experienced Psychologists complete assessments for the New Zealand Parole Board and the Court and could be asked to act as an Expert Witness.

**Utu a-tau | Salary**

The salary range for the role is $83,286 - $133,370 per annum. Frontline Psychologists also have the ability to work towards additional allowances and allocated professional development funding. We may also offer flexible and/or part-time options for working hours. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role. In addition to salary, you will be entitled to five weeks of annual leave after one year of service, increasing to six weeks after four years of continuous service.
