Quality Account Manager

**The Role**

We are on the lookout for an experienced Account Manager to manage the quality and lab customer relationships which is a key resource in Synlait’s Quality team and a key contributor to our overall customer experience focus.

This is a critical role where you will be the driving force behind the Quality relationship and management of key customers. You will take responsibility of the ownership of the Quality and lab customer delivery relationship where you will showcase your excellence in building credibility, trust and expertise with key stakeholders across the value chain.

The main responsibilities of this role include.
- Develop a deep understanding of our customers’ Quality and Food Safety compliance. Building mutually beneficial relationships to reach the right outcomes and close gaps that exist or develop through natural evolution.
- Monitor both customer and internal product performance key metrics, laser focus on product deviations to a set timeframe, coordinate investigations and track to agreed timelines, monitor close out performance, review and approve customer internal and external quality communication.
- A role model for Quality behaviours. culture and customer voice.
- Deliver your KPI results by driving actions end to end across the value chain
- End to end responsibility for the Quality performance associated with the assigned customers. Chase the successful outcomes.
- Bring issues accompanied by options for the solution and a clear recommendation to the Head of Quality Delivery

You will collaborate, partner and support key internal relationships including Sales account, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality and Customer teams to deliver and drive success. The key to your success will be your ability to be a valued, trusted and knowledgeable resource for both internal and external stakeholders. If this sounds like you then we want to hear from you

**Skills and Experience**

To be considered for this role will require

This role requires a high level of emotional intelligence and executive presence to be able to communicate and develop relationships with Key Accounts’ stakeholders across the business.
- Ability to use data to uncover opportunities and quantify them
- Strategic thinking, development and planning - need to be steps ahead of the opportunity
- Ability to manage stakeholders and facilitate collaboration between many people to drive a shared goal
- Consultative selling and ability to present a well-rounded business solution / idea with conviction to give customer’s confidence in the solutions

You will ideally have Quality management experience within the dairy industry.
