**The Opportunity**

This day shift opportunity will enhance your career.

You will gain maintenance experience in a world-class manufacturing environment working on advanced high-speed, high-output production lines.

As a developing or experienced Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability of these high-value production lines. You will be involved in the maintenance of complex machine systems, pneumatics, hydraulics and associated conveying to make sure they are functioning at optimal performance.

Diagnosing and repairing faults and attending to breakdowns are important to keep the plant operational and reduce downtime. Due to volumes through this site and its 24/7 scheduling, any downtime is costly to the business.

**What you will bring to the role**:

- Demonstrate sound experience with mechanical repair and maintenance.
- Self-driven and eager to develop.
- Being NZQA Qualified to L4 would be advantageous.
- Strong process aptitude and skill would be beneficial.
- Have the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
- Be an innovative thinker with robust problem-solving skills.
- Have a desire to be part of the Company’s culture to continuously improve.
