Up to $95,000 + Bonus + Super (NZD) Reporting to the Senior Base Engineer, you will support a fleet of Beachcraft King Air in Ohakea, New Zealand within our Military Operations. - Description/Tasks: - Performance of maintenance activities to ensure; - work at base level, including defect rectification, is performed according to the procedures and standards specified in company exposition. - work at line or outstations is performed according to the procedures and standards specified in company exposition. - work on aircraft components is performed according to the procedures and standards specified in company exposition. - storage of materials and component storage are to the procedures and standards specified in company exposition. - required data is at the latest revision status and is available and accessible to staff during the performance of their tasks. - required maintenance records are created and kept in a manner acceptable to Jet Aviation and the NZDF. - Contribute to corrective and preventive action resulting from audit activity relating to maintenance and supply, are implemented in an effective and timely manner. - Actively participate and promote company health and safety at work, environmental protection programs and safety management system and maintain a foreign object and debris management in the workplace - Contributing to development and revision of company procedures for continuous improvement. - Updating personal knowledge of applicable CAA and NZDF regulatory matters or policies and sharing that knowledge with colleagues. - Provide direct supervision, when required, of maintenance in a manner which enables those under supervision to achieve agreed objectives. - Use allocated manpower and resources to ensure desired company and customer outcomes are achieved and within budget. - Encourage open, effective internal and external communications about maintenance performed, reportable or repeat defects, facilities issues and any non-compliances. - Qualification/Experience: - Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with New Zealand Qualifications Authority recognition. - Heavy maintenance experience working in an aircraft maintenance facility performing. - system maintenance and modifications to meet contractual expectations. - Ability to work in a team environment with mínimal supervision. - Ability to plan, organise and prioritise their work in alignment to customer schedules and contract requirements. - Detail focused with the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written. - Previous experience on King Air B200/B300 aircraft and Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Category Aeroplane Group 5 BE200, Category Powerplant Group 3 PT6 would be desirable. - Ability to work under mínimal supervision, as well as part of a wider team. - Ability/availability to deploy with the aircraft as required. - Previous experience in a highly customer focused and centric environment, with a "we are here to help" approach. - Having a physical capacity and endurance to be able to undertake a variety of labouring tasks associated with aircraft maintenance activities. - Acknowledgement that you have a current legal right to work; - A copy of your updated CV; - A copy of your current licence. - A cover letter/Introduction letter As part of the selection process applicants will be required to undertake some or all of the following assessments/checks: - Pre-employment functional assessment, which will include a drug and alcohol test. - National Police/Criminal History Check. - Working with Children & Young People Verification. - Jet Aviation AG - Ms Kristie-Anne Maher
