**A Housekeeper/Laundry Assistant at Summerset is more than just a cleaner.**

We’re looking for a hardworking, caring **Housekeeper/Laundry Assistant** to join our warm and welcoming **Boulcott** village team. This role is all about making sure our residents feel comfortable, safe, and truly at home.

As a Housekeeper/Laundry Assistant, you'll be a key part of creating a clean, uplifting, and homelike environment for residents, their whānau, and fellow team members.

**Your day-to-day activities will include**:

- Ensuring high-quality cleaning across resident rooms, bathrooms, communal areas, laundry, and kitchen facilities
- Laundering, folding and returning residents’ clothing and linens with care and attention
- Labelling, mending and maintaining residents' personal laundry items
- Supporting infection control measures and health and safety procedures
- Building friendly, respectful relationships with residents and understanding their unique needs

This is a** Casual role on an 'as and when' required basis.**

**Qualifications**:
You’ll be a great fit if you:

- You have experience in housekeeping ideally in healthcare or hopsiatlity
- Take pride in your work and care about the small details
- Are physically fit and comfortable working on your feet
- Have a genuine interest in aged care (no experience necessary — full training provided)
