As Service Advisor/ Warranty Administrator, youll be in charge of maintaining open lines of communication between our customers, the workshop and Toyota New Zealand. When their car is in for repairs or servicing, youre there to help work out what they need and liaise with the technicians to keep the customer informed about the jobs progress, from timelines to cost.
Your goal is to make every customer feel special and well looked after, and for them to walk away feeling like theyve had a great experience at Toyota.
So if youve got experience in retail or front-of-house hospitality, youll be off to a winning start. If youre interested in cars it should add to your enjoyment of the role, but with the right attitude you dont need any particular industry knowledge. This would be a great foot in the door if youre keen on moving into the industry but are looking for something other than the workshop or sales departments.
Youll be the warm sort of person that customers love welcoming, collegial, efficient, attention to detail and a terrific listener. On the business side of things, youll be able to follow process and manage your time well. Youll also need decent computer skills, though you dont need to be a whiz.
