The **Spending Review** **Team** is improving the value of public spending. We are shaping the framework for reviewing spending across government and its effectiveness and efficiency. Our work brings together policy, systems, economic and financial analysis skills to improve value for New Zealanders.

**Kōrero mō ngā tūranga | About the Roles**

We have built our team up in recent months and have two final Senior Analyst positions to fill. The roles will involve leading projects and working with colleagues within Treasury and across government to deliver a priority multi-year work programme. We are particularly interested to hear from people people with public sector finance experience.

**Ō pūmanawa | About You**
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills, ideally with public sector finance experience
- Highly developed communication, influencing and relationship management skills, with the ability to have impact within and across agencies
- Experience leading complex projects, organised and an effective problem solver
- Demonstrated ability to support, mentor and develop others
- Cultural intelligence and a growth mind-set
- High level of adaptability and resilience, comfortable working on fast moving and high priority issues.
- A generous, team-player attitude
