**Job Description** Mō te tūranga | About the Roles**
Our Support Services team contribute to the quality of life of our residents by maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene across our community, and ensuring a comfortable environment for our residents within our Housekeeping team. Also delivering efficient food service to our residents and providing a high level of customer service in the Kitchen team.
You will be responsible for cleaning all areas within our community - including resident rooms and the interior of our facilities. You will liaise with other team members to identify areas that require special cleaning and collaborate with your supervisor in maintaining supplies and equipment.
You will also support the Kitchen Manager through kitchen and meal preparation including assembling and preparing ingredients, baking, cooking, toasting, and heating food items. You will also be responsible for keeping the kitchen and scullery areas clean, tidy, and safe.
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience
- Experience working within a commercial kitchen or similar environment
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- The ability to work cohesively with colleagues as part of a team, and be highly responsible and reliable
- The ability to focus on our resident needs and remain calm and courteous
- A good level of physical fitness
