Due to project wins and growth we are looking for a Stormwater Engineer to join our Hamilton based team. Project work typically encompasses medium to large projects across region, but you will also have the opportunity to work on other projects throughout New Zealand and across the Pacific.

Every day will provide you with new challenges and look a little different, overall, this role will see you:

- Provide technical design advice for civil and multi-disciplinary projects, specifically for roads, drainage and general civil engineering.
- Job delivery, including experience in work planning and financial management, together with client relationship skills and proposal preparation.
- Building client relationships and demonstrate your ability to understand our client's core business and ensure that services meet their expectations.
- Participate in design teams undertaking drainage and civil engineering design for a wide variety of schemes including roads, wind farms, industrial engineering, power, water and land development.
- Build strong relationships across all levels of our organisation and within our client’s organisations.

**About you**

Your passion, design and problem-solving mindset will be matched with a desire to work on meaningful and significant projects across New Zealand in a multidisciplinary business. You will be an experienced Stormwater Engineer, through your experience you have grown your skills in assessing and solving stormwater management issues, quality & quantity and experienced in modelling (experience in MIKE software would be an advantage).

You will also have an enquiring mind, able to problem solve and think laterally. How you work is also important to us - we will value your enthusiasm and motivation to continue to learn from your peers and more senior members of the team. Self-motivated, you strive for technical excellence and exceeding client expectations. You are passionate about developing and motivating others, whilst ensuring that the team works collaboratively to meet project deliverables.
