Yachting Developments builds international award-winning Super Yachts. These beautiful carbon composite vessels are quite special, they are bespoke, custom built from the ground up, right here in Auckland, at our premises based in Hobsonville. **If you like boats this could be your dream job** Due to growth and significant forward orders we are looking to hire and train more Apprentice Boat Builders. Over the coming years the role will include construction of 30m+ carbon composite Sports Fisher Superyachts and Sailing Yachts, all very impressive projects This is a long term, stable employment opportunity and the chance to be part of the Superyacht industry. No Previous boatbuilding experience required as formal NZQA training will be provided. The role is a full time position.**Hours of work are tailored to miss the traffic, 7.00 am to 3.30 pm, Monday to Friday, with easy motorway access and lots of free parking on-site.**(Overtime is available by mutual agreement) **Age is no barrier** This is an important and rewarding role in the company, it is a chance to be a somebody, not just a number, it is an opportunity to go home at night and feel very proud of what we have made and achieved. K**ey Responsibilities for the role**: - Read and Interpret drawings - Ensure high quality standards are met - Ensure QA procedures are followed - Ensure product is manufactured on time in spec **Key Skills required for the role**: - Flexible "Can do" attitude - Practical hands on approach to finding solutions - Team player - Ability to plan work to meet the deadlines specified for each job - High personal standards - Have a strong command of the English language - Previous boating experience is an advantage but not a must have Applicants must be a New Zealand resident or hold a New Zealand Visa to apply.
