Yachting Developments builds international award-winning Super Yachts. These beautiful carbon composite vessels are quite special, they are bespoke, custom-built from the ground up, right here in Auckland, at our premises based in Hobsonville. Due to growth and significant forward orders, we are seeking skilled boatbuilders, laminators and supervisors to join our energetic boatbuilding team. Over the coming years, the role will include the construction of 30m+ carbon composite Sports Fisher Superyachts and Sailing Yachts, all very impressive projects This is a long-term, stable employment opportunity The role is a full-time position.**Hours of work are tailored to miss the traffic, 7.00 am to 3.30 pm, Monday to Friday, with easy motorway access and lots of free parking on-site.**(Overtime is available by mutual agreement) **Age is no barrier** This is an important and rewarding role in the company, it is a chance to be a somebody, not just a number, it is an opportunity to go home at night and feel very proud of what we have made and achieved. K**ey Responsibilities for the role**: - Read and Interpret drawings - Ensure high-quality standards are met - Ensure QA procedures are followed - Ensure product is manufactured on time in spec **Key Skills required for the role**: - Experience as a boatbuilder or laminator - Skilled use of hand tools and machinery - Flexible "Can do" attitude - Practical hands-on approach to finding solutions - Team player - Ability to plan work to meet the deadlines specified for each job - High standard of workmanship - Have a strong command of the English language Applicants must be a New Zealand resident or hold a New Zealand Visa to apply.
