**Mō te tūnga | About the role**

This role provides high-quality administrative and event coordination support to the Manager, Parliamentary Engagement, and the wider team. You’ll help deliver parliamentary events, visits, and activities that make Parliament more accessible and engaging for citizens, MPs, and international visitors.

**Ngā haepapa | What you’ll be doing**
- Coordinating logistics for parliamentary events, visits, and education activities
- Providing professional administrative support, including scheduling, correspondence, and financial processing
- Supporting delivery of the Parliamentary Engagement strategy and maintaining records, schedules, and website/intranet content
- Building strong relationships with MPs, officials, the diplomatic corps, and other stakeholders

**Tō kete | What you’ll bring**
- Proven experience in a busy administrative or team support role
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Confidence with MS Office and related systems
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and diplomatic under pressure
- An appreciation of tikanga Māori and commitment to growing understanding of te reo Māori
