**About the role | He korero whakamarama mo tenei turanga**

The Onboarding team, in conjunction with the Referrals team, manage the initial process in the journey of a new client gaining access to the care and support they need through HealthCare NZ. The Onboarding team follow up on incoming referrals, welcome clients to our services and set up a baseline roster for the client matching our support workers to the needs of each particular client.

We are looking for a vibrant, organised and resilient Onboarding Team Leader to lead a team of onboarding service facilitators. This is a hands-on leadership position where will you will at times need to roll up your sleeve to help with the processing of referrals and new clients, whilst still needing to strategically manage, coach and develop your people, driving the success of the team as a whole. This is a 6 month Secondment Position, working Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm working in the heart of Auckland's CBD on the viaduct.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage the day to day running of the Onboarding team and provide support to the Referrals team when required, ensuring the team place the customer at the heart of everything we do
- Driving the team performance, monitoring the effectiveness of employee's decision making and service delivery, provide feedback, performance management, and development as appropriate
- Support the development and implementation of effective workforce development plans, including the recruitment and retention and training of all employees in the Onboarding team
- Working collaboratively with other Service Centre and Service Delivery leaders and teams

**What you will bring | Nga tohungatanga mo tenei turanga**
- Strong experience managing a team in a fast-paced service centre/call centre environment, preferably a health/disability-related industry
- An understanding of the public health system and how referrals work would be highly advantageous
- Experience working with client management systems/CRM/ERP systems
- The ability to drive results and create a strong team culture
- A collaborative approach, strong time management and organisational skills
- Resilience and ability to respond positively to change
- Leading your team by example, living and breathing the company values and vision
