If you enjoy working outdoors, possess an awesome work ethic and have your full NZ drivers' licence, then this role would suit you We are looking for a motivated and energetic individual to take on responsibilities of vegetation control management in our local parks and reserves across the Horowhenua region.

**What does a Vegetation Control Operator do, you ask?**:
This position involves spray operations and vegetation control tasks such as:

- Manual removal of weeds and pest plants
- Operating spray equipment and machinery
- Planting and pruning of roses, shrubs and herbaceous perennials
- Undertake other gardening and/or horticulture tasks that may be necessary

**Who we are looking for**:

- A clean and current drivers' licence with the ability to drive a manual
- A current GrowSafe would be highly desirable
- Be a team player with a positive attitude - helping out your team mates needs to be second nature
- Ability to adhere to the company's health and safety procedures
- Motivated with a strong desire to get this job done
- Physically fit - the role does involve a lot of walking
