**Employment type: Permanent Full-Time**
**Minimum guaranteed hours of work Per week: 30**
**Days Required: Between Monday to Sunday (6 days in a week)**
**Hourly rate: $30.00 per hour**

We are currently looking for Class 2 Truck Drivers for the transportation of flour to customers around the Auckland region. This is a fast-paced role which require you be Physically fit and be able to lift heavy loads manually. You must be committed and reliable. Right attitude is key to succeeding in this role.
- Drive and operate trucks
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
- Hand unloading
- Transporting and delivering goods in a safe, timely manner
- Ensuring goods are strapped down correctly and removed safely
- Confirm that the contents of each load match the manifest document
- Plan routes and ensure timely transport and delivery
- Communicate with dispatch as needed
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods)
- Notify of any major maintenance or delivery issues encountered
- Inspecting goods for damage and complete incident reports for the manager
- Log Books to be completed accurately in full & submitted timely
- Pre-checks of vehicle before each trip - including oil, water, fuel, air pressure levels are in line with road safety and vehicle safety standards
- Ensure truck is kept clean and tidy and carry out minor maintenance
- Follow correct safety procedures
- Comply with all traffic laws at all times
- Current Class 2 Driver Licence
- Being Physically fit (there is some heavy lifting) and reliable
- Be able to lift heavy loads manually as the flour packaging may weight 20+ kgs
- Pass the drug and alcohol tests
- No criminal records
- Good knowledge of load restraint and weight distribution
- Clean driving record (No previous Driving incidents) and commitment to safety
- Availability of work required: Monday to Sunday
- Early morning start required (from 5.00 AM), Weekend availability and you may be required to work during public holidays
- Work in conditions that may be stressful, including poor weather and Heavy Traffic
- Have a positive, enthusiastic attitude with a strong results-focused work ethic
- Time management skills and ability to work unsupervised
- Have a working knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety & Logbook requirements
- Willingness to follow standard operating procedures
