**A bit about the role**

In this role not only will you need to have strong personal values which align with ours, you will need a work ethic that is second to none as this will be the true key to your success.

As a Team Member at Mitre 10 MEGA Petone you will have the opportunity to be involved across a broad range of areas and will be responsible for providing excellent service to our customers.

On a daily basis you will be involved in offering our customers an exceptional in store and after sales service, answering their queries and assisting them with their purchasing decisions, stock integrity, merchandising and improving your product knowledge so you can make the customer experience even better.

Mitre 10 MEGA Petone is looking for a retail professional with a keen eye for detail and a customer-focused attitude to take on this full time role.
- Great enthusiasm for customer service and sales
- Great work ethic, a can do attitude, and a team player
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Confidence using a computer and the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to adapt and be flexible
- The physical capabilities to manage the manual handling aspects of this role (manual handling, prolonged standing, ladder use)
- A good awareness of Health & Safety
- Knowledge of plants and garden products is essential

This is a Part-Time position, rostered Sunday & Monday, fixed term through till the end of February 2026.
