We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior HR Advisor to join our hardworking and fun-loving People and Culture team on a 9 month fixed term contract covering Parental Leave starting mid Feb 2025. This role plays a key part in supporting managers in all People and Culture activities in our Northern Region from the mighty Waikato through to the Bay of Plenty and up to Auckland and Whangarei.
A day in the life of this role could look like:

- Provide well-considered P&C advice to facilitate day-to-day operations and strategic decision making
- Building relationships with key stakeholders in the Northern Region and across the motu
- Offering guidance and support in managing employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
- Collaborating with the wider P&C Team on projects and initiatives

We're looking for someone with HR Advisor experience who wants to make a difference in Health and can hit the ground running. We are flexible in location and are calling for applicants based in Tauranga, Waikato or Auckland.
In this role you will bring:

- A customer focused approach
- Experience of HR processes, documentation and systems, data flows and dealing with confidential and sensitive information
- Sound knowledge of current New Zealand employment legislation
- A curious/improvement focused approach to problem solving
