**Skills, Experience & Qualifications Required**
- Extensive industry knowledge.
- Hotel or travel /tourism experience is not essential, but travel/tourism or hospitality.
- At least three years of experience in a sales role or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, hospitality, or related field would be preferred.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Key Tasks & Responsibilities**
- Maintain regular contact with the allocated client base that includes Inbound Tour Operators, Coach Tour Operators and New Zealand and overseas wholesalers through a structured sales plan.
- Monitor and communicate client’s business performance regularly and act when necessary.
- Participate in targeted New Zealand-based and offshore trade shows and training events.
- Contribute to the overall wholesale sales strategy and activity planning process.
- Actively contribute to rate setting in conjunction with the Director of International Sales & Brand Development.
- Coordinate all client requests in a timely manner eg: familiarisation visits, VIP requests, complaints etc.
- Participate in client networking functions and other ‘hosting’ opportunities that help enhance relationships and improve business.
