- On-going staff support and development
- Central location
- Full Time
**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**
Are you interested in being part of a unique service that co-ordinates and accesses services for service users with mental health needs?
To achieve better mental health outcomes for individuals, families and communities, it is essential that the different parts of the Mental Health System and other social services work well together, in order to provide continuity of care and to address social determinants of health that impact on mental health and wellbeing. This requires service providers to work collaboratively and co-operatively together developing relationships between services, that are nutured and maintained to ensure that joint approaches are developed to prevent and/or resolve problems as they arise at both the system and individual level.
As the Clinical Team Leader for Service Coordination, you will bring both clinical leadership and operational management skills, ensuring the effective day to day operation of the service. You will also have a key role in developing and maintaining relationships with NGO mental health services and other social services, working collaboratively at a senior clinical level with service users, colleagues, mental health service providers, and other community agencies to promote service user recovery. This includes leading and implementing service and system developments, improvements and initiatives.
For further details, please refer to the position description **here**.
**Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills**
The position requires a self-motivated and conscientious leader with a strong clinical and service user focus who has proven experience in working collaboratively with others. You will relish the challenges and enjoy working in a supportive environment. You will have a positive attitude, flexibility and a proven ability to form good relationships with staff, service users and their families/whanau, along with NGOs and social service providers. Although experience in an operational management role is desirable, experienced mental health professionals with a desire to extend into a management role will be considered, and if successful will be supported in their development.
A full and clean driver's license is required.
