Our client is a multi-disciplinary consultancy offering professional geotechnical, environmental, civil, 3 waters and natural hazard engineering services in the Auckland and Northland regions. The company has a strong focus on employee well-being and professional development.

**About the role**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Undertake civil engineering design, analysis, and reporting for a range of land development projects across Auckland and New Zealand.
- Provide civil engineering services to the residential and commercial sectors.
- Manage a team of people to support your role, including civil design engineers, CAD technicians, and field staff.
- Client liaison and internal project management, including quoting and invoicing with other senior managers.
- Assist with business development, including preparing tender documents, attending meetings, and maintaining client relationships to establish new lines of business.
- Develop a multi-disciplinary understanding of each project to promote the full range of engineering services offered by the company.

**Requirements**:

- Ideally CPEng status, but if you're close to it then that's okay too.
- 7-10 years of experience in land development, 3 water infrastructure or related fields.
- Excellent knowledge of New Zealand building codes and standards.
- Experience in managing and leading a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant design software.
