Te Uru Rauhi Mental Health and Addictions Services has a variety of vacancies for Mental Health Assistants to the Acute Inpatient team at Palmerston North Hospital.
We have
**full time, part time and casual positions **available, working rostered shifts. This will be discussed further with the successful applicant/s.
Our enthusiastic, motivated mental health assistants will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Good communication skills verbal and written
- Mature outlook with life skills/experience
- Understanding of direction and delegation within the clinical workplace
- Works well in a team setting
- Is consumer and recovery focused
- A full current NZ Driver's licence
- Completion on the Career Force NZ Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (Assistant Strand) Level 3
