**About the Role**

Associate Charge Nurse Manager (ACNM) or Associate Team Leader roles are essential in creating partnerships with Māori across all levels including tāngata whaiora, whānau, Māori staff and the Kaitakawaenga team, and supporting our non
- Māori staff to work together in reducing inequity.

The Associate Charge Nurse Manager is a key senior role within the team responsible for providing leadership and support to staff, taangata whaiora and whaanau, working in close collaboration with the Charge Nurse Manager.

**About the Team**

Ward 36 is a 10 bedded acute admission unit with an adjacent intensive care area consisting of 2 beds and is situated within the Henry Rongomau Bennett Centre.

It’s the perfect time to join our team. We have a brand new facility being built which will be ready for occupancy in 2026; you will get to work in a state of the art purpose built facility, where we aim to be delivering a service which is culturally led and clinically underpinned.

Be part of leading this change, alongside a great team of managers, clinical leaders and Maaori including our taangata whaiora and whaanau.

**About you**
- Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
- Support CNM to build a high performing team that upholds the culture, values, mission and vision of the service.
- Engage and work collaboratively with all stakeholders, particularly tāngata whaiora and whānau.
- Foster a culture of openness and quality improvement, with tāngata whaiora and whānau at the centre
