The Brand Manager is accountable for the development and implementation of the Pizza Hut marketing programmes and is responsible for the planning and delivery of specific marketing projects to achieve a commercially successful outcome for both corporate and independent franchisee store sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the achievement of the brand’s business’ strategy and goals by providing specialist marketing advice and leadership to brand stakeholders.
- Be the champion for the brands ensuring their ongoing development and evolution.
- Develop and manage the annual Brand Marketing Plans and Calendars to maximize sales revenue, cost of sales and profit ahead of AOP.
- Monitor and manage the performance of marketing campaigns, individual products, and product categories to perform on time, and within budget
- Manage relationships with franchisees, external agencies and vendors to develop integrated customer communication materials
- Work collaboratively and professionally with internal customer; establish and maintain strong communication across the business
- Maintain timelines and processes for the marketing calendar to ensure effective and timely development and execution of programs within defined budget constraints
- Analyse data on marketing and consumer metrics, report results and set targets for improvement
- Periodic reporting covering the Brand’s activities for the period and future periods, competitor activity, research findings and trends
Skills and experience:
- Relevant tertiary qualification.
- Highly developed written and oral communication skills
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Marketing/Brand Management in either QSR (Quick Service Restaurant), FMCG, retail or similar industries
- Demonstrated skills in business management, budgeting, planning and reporting, combined with the ability to engage key decision makers and drive strategy
- Strong business acumen and be commercially minded - comfortable using data, understands cost drivers, evaluates opportunities, and builds on any learnings
- Sound relationship management - comfortable with agencies as well as all stakeholders with varied communication styles
- Strong planning and time-management ability to efficiently deal with multiple competing priorities
- Is collaborative and consultative with the ability to work cross-functionally and within a team
- Strong report writing skills; ability to provide meaningful and accurate data to Senior Management level
- Ability to be self-directed and motivated, demonstrating a proactive and innovative approach with a high level of initiative
- Able to recognise situations that require the use of appropriate negotiation techniques, and the skills to persuade others to reach mutually beneficial agreements
- Experience with digital marketing including social media platforms
- Proficient user of MS Office products, including Excel, Word & PowerPoint
- Design software experience an advantage - Adobe Photoshop and InDesign
- Some experience with DSLR Photography, photo manipulation and retouching, experience co-ordinating content photoshoots preferred
