**Role Overview**:As a **Store Manager**, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of one of our variety stores, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning, excellent customer service, and achieving store performance goals. These are hands-on roles where you will lead a team, manage inventory, and drive the store's success.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Lead, motivate, and manage staff to ensure exceptional customer service and operational efficiency
- Monitor and maintain stock levels, ensuring products are well-displayed and the store is organized
- Implement merchandising and promotional strategies to increase foot traffic and sales
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety standards, and store cleanliness
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner
- Manage store financials, including sales targets, budgeting, and cash handling
- Prepare staff rosters and manage work schedules based on store requirements
- Work closely with senior management to meet store KPIs and foster continuous growth

**What We’re Looking For**:

- NZQF Diploma or equivalent OR at least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed above.
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Experience with inventory management, stock control, and ordering
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of retail financials, including sales targets and profit margins
- Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and varied shifts
- A proactive, results-driven approach with a focus on achieving sales goals
- Must have the legal right to work in New Zealand
