**Number of Positions**: 2
**Location**: Opotiki, Bay of Plenty
**Pay Rate**: $26 - $30 per hour (depending on experience)
**Hours of Work**: 30 - 40 hours per week
**Industry**: Horticulture (Orchard operations)

**Key Requirements**:

- At least 6 months or more experience **OR** Level 1 or above qualification required.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and lead orchard teams in daily horticultural operations.
- Organise and allocate tasks such as pruning, thinning, irrigation, spraying, and harvesting.
- Monitor quality standards and ensure work is completed efficiently.
- Train new workers on safe orchard practices and correct work methods.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with health and safety requirements.
- Report progress, challenges, and workforce needs to orchard managers.
- Assist in planning labour requirements during peak seasons.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, staff attendance, and orchard progress.
- Liaise with management to ensure smooth orchard operations.
