Whanganui District Council's Revenue team is looking for a great team player, who is articulate and has a sense of humour to join its well-established and friendly Revenue team.

This busy role supports the work of Council by ensuring our creditors get paid the right amount at the right time, as well as co-ordinating our office supply needs and accounts. There will be interaction with Council's creditors and Council staff across the organisation. This role is also responsible for the daily allocation of electronic payments received and to be applied to the appropriate debtor - some examples are; rates, sundry debtors, building consents
- A 'can do' attitude
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail and natural ability with numbers
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Confidence with MS Office products

Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage but is not essential.
