We have an exciting **12-month secondment/fixed term opportunity** for a Senior Finance Analyst to join our team, based in Auckland.

Reporting through to the Divisional Chief Financial Officer - Customer, Products & Services you will be responsible for the development of management reporting, in-depth analysis, and insight for the Divisional CFO Finance teams.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Owning, facilitating, and managing the month end, planning, and forecasting processes.
- Preparing and reviewing key financial information.
- Identifying and leading initiatives to improve key reporting objectives within the wider Divisional Performance team.
- Continually looking to review, document and improve procedures as part of the continual improvement of the Finance function.

**Ōu Pūkenga | About You**

We are looking for someone who is highly analytical, and detail orientated with a curious mind and strong focus on delivery. The role will involve you thinking on your feet and proactively taking action to identify issues and improve processes.

To be successful in this role, you will also have:

- 3 - 5 years of relevant experience gained either within Banking, Financial Services, or a large, complex Corporate environment.
- Strong communication and business writing skills, and the ability to convey complex issues into simple language for others to comprehend.
- A proven track record of building relationships with stakeholders and members of leadership teams.
- The desire and willingness to learn and drive performance to make a difference to BNZ's customers and bottom-line results.
