What your role and typical day might look like

We’re looking for a Senior Finance Analyst to manage the financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processes for dentsu NZ. You’ll play a central role within the Commercial Finance team to ensure forecasting and budgeting is completed on time and is accurate. Partnering with our brand leaders, challenging their assumptions to ensure that their forecasts are robust, and coordinating all parts of the business to form an updated view of the financial outlook. At dentsu we’re continuously looking to improve our processes and create more efficiencies, you’ll be tasked with championing the adoption of our pipeline management tool ‘Salesforce’ across the business, as well as developing PowerBI dashboards to present insights to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities could include:
- Project management of all forecasts and budgets, to ensure both accurate and timely delivery. This will require multiple stakeholder management.- Partnering with Brands to support forecast/budget generation whilst also prepared to challenge Brand submissions through interrogation of base level assumptions and drivers to ensure strategic/commercial alignment.- Preparation of all Brand/Group quarterly forecast/budget presentations.- Lead the monthly forecast presentations in conjunction with the Brand Leadership.- Act as the dentsu NZ Salesforce champion.- Coordinate and review the Salesforce pipeline data for all Brands ensuring that the pipeline is complete, accurate and up to date.

A bit about you:
- 3 years’ post CPA/CA experience (preferred but not essential)- 5+ years of career experience in Finance, Accounting, or related fields- Managed planning and forecasting cycles- Strong financial analysis skills with a keen eye for detail- Experience in a fast-paced operating environment and managing competing deadlines for multiple stakeholder- Knowledge of PowerBI and Salesforce Sales Cloud or similar CRM platforms- Self-starter with a general positive/can-do attitude
