Our client is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Branch Manager to join their team in Dunedin. This role is office-based but will also be required to assist with the day to day running of the branch and providing support the Business Development Manager within the region.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage day-to-day operations of the branch, with a focus on health and safety
- Ensure compliance with company health and safety policies and procedures
- Liaise with drivers and ensure delivery schedules are met in a safe and timely manner
- Assist with business development activities within the region, with a focus on promoting our commitment to health and safety
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients
- Manage inventory and maintain accurate records, with a focus on ensuring the safe storage and handling of all products
- Utilize your forklift license to assist with warehouse duties as needed, while following all health and safety protocols

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in a similar role within a manufacturing, engineering, or construction environment
- Strong organisational and leadership skills, with a commitment to promoting health and safety in the workplace
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Forklift license is a must, with a strong understanding of forklift safety protocols
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license
