Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
We are looking for a flexible, proactive and self-motivated individual to join our busy team in the Radiology department in Wellington Hospital.
The job is mixed between providing direct administrative support for the Operations Manager and Clinical leaders and operational administration throughout the department.
From day to day you can expect a variety of challenges including: Rostering, project support, communications, day-to-day problem solving, and assisting with travel booking, payroll, HR and ICT needs.
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to contribute directly to the service and care of our patients with additional opportunity for development within the department.

The Department service administrator is an integral member of the Radiology Management team. The team has members from a variety of professions including Radiologists, Imaging technicians, Administration, and Management. We work to manage an efficient and high quality imaging service in Wellington and Kenepuru hospital.

- have excellent organisational and time management skills
- have the ability to multitask and prioritise workload,
- have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- be able to concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment
- be able to communicate and function productively in an interdisciplinary team
