**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**

Our Tamaki Ward at National Women’s Health has a new opportunity for a Ward Clerk to join their friendly team on a casual basis.

Tamaki Ward is an antenatal and postnatal ward of 25 beds. This is primarily a low medical risk and high social acuity ward where we care for women with significant vulnerability, including women with mental health issues, drug and alcohol dependency, family violence and CYFS involvement.

The Ward Clerk position is varied and involves a high level of customer contact. You will be responsible for the maintenance of patient's files, arranging and monitoring patient movements, ordering/invoicing and other administrative tasks

**Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills**

You will need to have:

- Previous experience in the health industry and a minimum of 2 years administrative/clerical experience is essential for this role.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work under pressure
- Effective communication skills and strong customer service ethos
- Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft skills
