Working for Te Toka Tumai | Auckland is an opportunity for you to make a real difference in the health and wellbeing of our community.

We are looking for a Ward Clerk who enjoys a varied and high level of customer contact.

You will be assigned in Ward 38, a cardiology day stay ward which provides care for patient’s pre and post cardiac catheterisation in the adjacent Cardiac Investigations Unit. Ward 38 is a busy ward with a small outpatient clinic area within the ward.

In this role you will be responsible for
- Arranging and monitoring patient movements
- Ordering/invoicing and other administrative tasks
- Reception for Day Stay and the outpatient clinics
- Maintaining patient's files

**Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills**

To be successful in this role, we are looking for the following:

- Excellent communication skills, friendly and have a can-do attitude
- At least 2 years experience in an admin, frontline or customer service role in a hospital setting
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to work with a team of health practitioners
- A commitment to achieving equitable outcomes for Māori
- Demonstrate attention to detail and possess strong organisational skills with innovative ideas

The role is a Monday - Friday position 0700-1530hrs daily

You will be part of a high performing and supportive team who all have a common passion, care and enthusiasm for delivering a high quality experience and outcome for our patients
