The Doctors Hastings are looking for an experienced Medical Centre Manager to join their friendly and supportive team.

We are looking for someone who has a passion for primary healthcare and has worked in the health sector. People skills are the most important quality we are looking for. Being able to fit in with the team, provide leadership where needed, manage the outward facing relationships, and maintain the high level of patient service that we are proud of, is essential.

Being able to pick up the operational leadership and management of this Cornerstone Accredited practice. As well as people leadership, you will need to manage the financial planning, budgeting and accounting process. You will be able to thrive in the challenging environment of primary healthcare, PHOs, funding, capitation, enrolments and the wide range of reporting that GP practice requires. You will have excellent financial skills and be happy to be the 'go to' person for all things operational.

You want to work in a team, do what it takes to support your colleagues and deliver excellent service; you will be able to work well with doctors, nurses, administrators and reception professionals; you will be able to set up and maintain productive relationships with our Green Cross Health Support Office; you will bring positivity, energy, enthusiasm and resilience to this varied and exciting role. **You responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Human Resources: conduct interviews, oversee recruitment, complete appropriate weekly reports, ensure personnel files are up to date.
- Management and responsibility of Practice Administrator/Coordinator, Reception and Clerical Staff.
- Continuous Quality Improvement and Risk Management. Being familiar with legislation and ensuring that the centre is legally compliant.
- Financial Management
- Maintain key internal and external relationships, to ensure a harmonious and professional working environment.
- Building maintenance: includes but not limited to, over seeing the running of building contracts which includes maintenance and security.

**You will bring to the role**:

- Demonstrated leadership skills that will support a positive team culture
- Knowledge and understanding of office and administration procedures
- Experience in overseeing daily practice operations
- Have a positive and proactive approach to problem solving
- Desirable to have an understanding of Health funding streams
- Experience managing budgets and expenditure
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in managing change in relation to technology, systems and processes
- Computer literate and desirable to have Medtech 32/Evolution skills

COVID 19 - Vaccination: Applicants will be required to provide proof of full vaccination status.
