We are seeking Doctors with a special interest in Urgent care to come and join our vibrant team at Hastings Health Centre Urgent Care Department.

Come and work with our fun-loving team of Doctors, ECP Paramedics, Physician associates, Nurse Practitioners, Nurse Prescribers, whilst being supported by our highly skilled nursing team, and let's not forget the awesome reception team.

We have a great team culture, where everyone is respected and appreciated for their input into the patient journey. We strive to give the best possible patient care and encourage our staff to work to the top of their scope. We encourage all staff to take up the opportunity of ongoing training and education.

This is an exciting opportunity for doctors to work with our friendly, multi-disciplinary team with flexible rostered shifts between 8am and 8pm and only 1 weekend per month.

As a training practice we pride ourselves in supporting Urgent Care trainees.

The Hastings Health Centre was created for the purpose of delivering multi-disciplinary, high quality, primary health care services to the population of Hawke's Bay. We operate with a strong co-operative ethos, with the patient at the heart of everything we do. As such we strive for a diverse and culturally competent workforce to achieve this.

The centre is Foundations Standards, Cornerstone accredited, Urgent Care Standards accredited and a teaching practice. There are ample opportunities for CME provided on site, along with monthly Doctors and peer review meetings. We have an experienced and loyal team of professionals working for the centre, as well as strong leadership and a positive company culture.

Hawkes Bay is a known as the Fruit Bowl of New Zealand where the winters are mild and your summers can be spent at one of our great beaches, long lazy lunches at one of our many vineyards or biking through the district on our extensive cycle track network.
