**About the role**:
As a Commercial Broker you will provide clients with expert advice and tailored insurance policies that suit their individual circumstances and preferences. You will manage a portfolio of business, where your key focus will be on both the retention and growth of your client base. Based in Wellington.

**In this role you will be**:

- Managing renewals and advising on any amendments required for existing clients with the full support of a broker support administrator.
- Reviewing new client risk assessments and presenting back your recommendations
- Ensuring compliance/ relevant documentation is managed effectively
- Generating your own leads pipeline by nurturing new and existing client relationships
- Actively engage with your colleagues, sharing knowledge as well as celebrating wins and successes in the office.

**About you**:

- NZ Certificate in Financial Services (level 5)
- A compassionate nature and proven ability to build rapport
- Strong initiative and hunger for the business
- Clear credit and criminal police check
- Knowledge of commercial business operations and the insurance market
