**About The Role**:
Our client has an urgent need for an experienced Administrator to help out a fast pace team for a
**20 Hour Per Week Permanent Role** based in Newmarket.
The Committee Administrator is responsible for providing secretariat services for Board meetings, sub-committee meetings and other committees. The role will also provide some general administrative support to the wider team.
**Key Duties In This Role Include**:
- Draft and manage agenda for meetings, including the gathering, collatition and distribution of papers
- Draft correspondence on behalf of the Board as requested
- Attend Board, Council and committee meetings and take minutes, and follow up on action points
- Maintain decision registers and oversee action completion records
- Create and maintain correspondence register
- Liaise with the Chairs and manager regarding Board, Council and committee matters
- Manage the Board members’ administrative needs, including meeting and travel arrangements
- Book venues for meetings, set up venues and arrange catering if required for meetings
- Establish and maintain effective relationships in order to facilitate the effective gathering of information for the Board, Council and other committee meetings
- Undertake general administrative support with the EA to CEO as required
- Provide support and cover for other administrators within the WDC when so required
- Assist with projects by providing effective administrative support
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Experience as a high-level administrator or Personal Assistant
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Proven minute-taking and writing skills
- Ability to consult with senior stakeholders and collaborate with peers
- Able to meet and manage deadlines within agreed timeframes
- Process improvement skills
- Experience in a Governance Support role or equivalent
- A proven track record encompassing agenda preparation, formatting papers, booking meetings, minute taking and distribution of papers, or the ability to learn.
