This global organisation is a leader in their industry, providing products and services to the boating & marine world. They have offices in over 40 locations worldwide, and distribution sites in over 100. They manufacture, distribute & sell a number of brands well-regarded by those who know the industry well.

**Role**:
The NZ Head Office, based on Auckland's North Shore, is looking for an experienced Customer Service specialist to step into this Customer Service role at a senior level. This role will be perfect for you if you are genuinely passionate about providing top notch customer service and solutions to your customers.

**Hours, Location and Duration**:

- 40 hours per week.
- Mondays to Fridays (no weekends).
- 10.30am to 7pm
- If you're not a morning person, or like to hit the gym/walk the dog/drop the kids to school/sleep in every morning
- this role will be perfect for you
- Miss the peak traffic by starting at 10.30am.
- This is a permanent full-time position.
- Based North Shore
- Once training is completed, you will have the ability to work from home a couple of days a week

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Provide support to B2B customers on all products
- You’ll mainly provide customer support on the Service side
- There will also be a little bit of support on the Sales side eg cross/up-selling (this is not a sales role though)
- Take, process & manage orders from start to finish
- Refine quotes based on needs, up-sell and cross-sell
- Respond to website enquiries
- Manage and compile reporting
- Build rapport & trust with customers by going the extra mile with every single one of them
- Inspire other team members with your customer service knowledge & wisdom

**About you**:

- Your written and verbal communication styles will be clear & professional
- Ideally a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a mid to senior phone CS role
- You’ll possibly aspire to be a Team Leader in future
- If you're a boating enthusiast, love being on the water, or you're a bit of a boating gadget nerd - that would be a bonus however not an absolute requirement.
- You will need to be confident & comfortable in a role where you are providing support with regards to electronic products.
- You’ll be able to pick things up on the fly and remain professional at all times
- You’ll be more service focused however also be comfortable cross-selling & up-selling while you’re on the phone with customers sorting out their orders/issues
